MY favourite thing this week was writing my poem. My poem is about the monstrous Medusa and is based on the poem 'The Jabberwocky'. The Jabberwocky is a poem based on a boy who tries to kill the monster. My favourite part of my poem was when he killed Medusa because there was a big scene and lots of energy used by the boy. - Sophia 

We did an Enrichment day about Online Safety and we had a police officer come in to tell us about it. My favourite bit was when we went into the year 1 classroom and we made Online Safety Super Hero masks. We went into the hall and we did freeze-framing with Grace - this was fun. - Darcey. In Art, we did pieces inspired by Adam Frezza and Terri Chiao. We were practicing patterns for decorating our sculptures of animals. We used lots of colours and shapes. Everyone's was different and that is cool! - Keira. 

In art, we were making ourselves as pharaohs. To do this, we cut out our heads and drew around them. We cut out coloured paper and stuck them on to make our designed crowns. - Sadie My favourite subject this week was science. We did an experiment throughout the whole day, where we tested if the Earth rotates by looking at shadows. We put a toy onto a piece of paper and checked if the shadow had moved at regular times. What I found interesting was that at the beginning of the day, the shadow was directly underneath the toy, and over the course of 5 hours, it changed from the left side of the page to the right. - Cyrus Randeria

This week, Seth's favourite lesson was Computing. We got to go on the computers - 'I like computers'. Tarlia's favourite subject was Maths. I liked when we did the test! It was a test about addition and subtraction - I liked the challenge. :) This week was fun! Thanks for reading! - Tarlia and Seth

This week we researched pyramids and found some interesting facts. The blocks of the pyramid were made from limestone and there were many different chambers in the pyramids (including the treasury and the king's chamber). The first pyramid was the step pyramid. In art, this week, we finished our sunset and sunrise pictures. We finished them with different shades of grey to show perspective. I think we did good. :D - Fred and Neylah

This week we did Art, PE and Science. In Art we drew our Christmas cards. I had a snowman. I had a Santa. It was really fun. In PE we were doing hockey, but it started raining so we played fishes inside. It was very amusing seeing people running for their lives while being a pebble. In Science we learnt about the distance between the planets. It was very interesting. - George and Wilf

This week in our class we did Art and PE. In Art, we made a sunset using water colours. We were using warm and cold colours. Warm colours are reds, orange and yellows and cold colours are blue, turquoise and purple. Green is in the middle. In PE, we did swimming and hockey. In swimming, we went in the pool! It was great! In hockey, we were practising twisting the stick and controlling the ball. It was fun and amazing. School is the best! - Ella and Amelia-May
